Puppy Camp 102

After passing "Snuggling Class" with flying colors, Daddy decided it was time to take a more advanced class. Daddy has been flirting with the idea about buying a skateboard this week. Mommy has been very reluctant about allowing him to purchase this midlife crisis gift. However, Mommy and Daddy came home with a new skateboard on Friday afternoon. I was a little unsure what was going on with this new toy. Daddy started to put this harness on me and I got very excited. I was little unsure what I was supposed to do, but I soon got the hang of this new concept. Look at the pictures below:

From the above pictures, you can see that Daddy has gotten a little lazy when it comes to taking me on walks. He always complains that it is so hot out there and usually asks Mommy to take me on a walk. Now that he has this new skateboard, walking has become much easier for Daddy, plus he gets a little breeze in his face. Daddy even gave me some extra credit for pulling him up the driveway to the front door.

Puppy Camp 101

Momma and Daddy got out of school this week for the summer. Momma started joking about starting a Puppy Camp for me this summer. After kidding back and forth about Puppy Camp, Daddy asked Momma what was going to be my first lesson. Momma said, "Snuggling!". Snuggling is one of my favorite things to do, especially on the Tempurpedic.

This is my usual position at night, snuggled up to Momma's legs. Daddy took these pictures at night. Momma and I were mad that he took these pictures with the flash which woke us up.

More pictures of me at night sleeping next to Momma!

Daddy took these two pictures the next morning. Usually by the morning, I snuggle up around Momma's neck.

Momma took this picture in the middle of the afternoon laying on Daddy's pillows. She said that my grade for the day in snuggling was an A+!!!

Day 2 at the beach!

Just like yesterday, I couldn't wait to go swimming.

This is me swimming with daddy where the big boys swim. This is me in the middle of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Picture of Delaney and I on the way back in.

Momma giving me some sugar.

A few pictures of me and my Daddy. He is my play partner!

Weekend Beach Trip!

Woof Woof! I thought that I would share some pictures of my recent trip to the beach with Mommy and Daddy. We went down and stayed with Uncle Mat, Aunt Lara, Cousins Delaney and AW, and doggie cousin Torg.

I couldn't wait to go swimming. Daddy had to make sure I didn't accidentaly jump in too soon!

This is a picture of me with Daddy and cousin AW. If you ask AW, "What are you?", he replies in a cute baby voice, "Turdknocker!"

Here is a picture with doggie cousin Torg. He is old and sometimes mean. I am a jealous bobo pup, so when Torg gets close to daddy, I have to try and get closer.

Torg and I swimming. Notice that I am a much braver than him because I am swimming in deeper water!

This is daddy trying to squirt me with a water shooter. He is such a silly guy. What is even more funny, is that he is wearing a life jacket in knee deep water.

Actually, daddy wears the life jacket because when we swim, I always try to get on his shoulders and have him hold me. However, my talons are really long and sharp and I always scratch daddy pretty bad. So the lifejacket acts as his extra layer of protection. Plus, he says that he is teaching Delaney and AW how to be safe on the water. Yeah Right!

Picture of daddy, cousin AW, and I.

This is daddy being silly again by putting his life jacket on me. I did not like this at all!

AW doing some fishing!

Delaney seeing if she can keep water in her pit.

Aunt Lara and AW chillin on the beach.

Daddy's Yard!

I love spending most of my time outside in the yard. After two years of lying and peeing all over the yard, there wasn't much grass growing anymore. So, daddy took two weekends and created a new yard.

Here is what the yard looked like after daddy tilled the grass.

Daddy went out and bought a lot of new sod to make me a new home.

After a lot of hard work, this is what my new yard looked like.

Daddy even built me two pee posts and a new spot made out of pinestraw for me to lie! (Notice the dead crepe myrtle that I have managed to kill over the last three years)

However, I much prefer to lie on that new green grass, look!

And even sometimes, I lick myself on Daddy's new grass!

However, Daddy is a little mad at me. Even though I haven't been caught peeing on his new grass, I have left a little evidence...

(Note: Daddy wanted everyone to know these are not the same pee spots.)

More updates about Daddy's yard coming soon...

Thunder's First Blog!

Woof Woof. Well since Thunder can't talk, we (Emily and JT) are going to update this blog in honor of Thunder, our labrador retriever. When we get home, we will update this more with some pictures.
